What sort of clothes should I wear when I attend a training session?

Comfortable casual clothing is recommended in order to cope with practical activities, and just to be comfortable.

Is parking available at your venues?

As we have many venues across Australia, you will need to check the parking arrangements at the time of booking.

Do we have a lunch break, and for how long?

Yes, most classes have a 30-60 minute lunch break. Ask if your class location has food outlets nearby or if you need to bring your own.

What facilities are available?

Tea and coffee are available during the course.

Can I pay for the training on the day?

No. Due to our high demand for places, you need to pay prior to the commencement of the training. Payment confirms your place on the course. You will receive a confirmation letter once you have paid.

What if I cannot attend after I have paid?

In general cancellation fees may apply. However you may be able to transfer to another training course without incurring a penalty. Please refer to our cancellation policy for specific information.

What do we need to bring?

You will need to bring your confirmation letter with you on the first day of the class. Your confirmation letter will specify what you need to bring.

I have special needs, can I still do first aid training?

Depending on the type of need, you can still participate in first aid training. We will do everything possible to meet individual needs. Please advise us of your requirements.

Is there recognition of other first aid training providers’ certificates?

Yes, as long as the provider is appropriately accredited in the state or territory in which you are doing the training. The person enrolling you into a class must sight these certificates.

How long before I get my certificate?

Your certificate should arrive within ten working days of your successful completion of course assessment.

My certificate has just expired, can I enroll in a re-certification course?

You must hold current certification to be able to enroll in a re-certification course.
